THE FACTS ABOUT SO-CALLED CHILD SUPPORT

• “Child support” is a dishonest term for fines imposed by the Probate and Family Courts
• There is no requirement that these fines be used to support a child

• The amount of these fines is not based on the expense of supporting a child

• The amount of these fines is only based on the imputed incomes of the parents

• These fines are imposed and men jailed without due process of law or Constitutional protections
• The only crime of the accused is being a father

• These fines are the only unforgivable debts in the United States

• Fathers have been jailed for falling behind $1000 or less in payment of these fines

• Debtors prison have been considered cruel and unusual punishment in the US since 1833

• The Probate and Family Courts and so-called judges get a kick back for every dollar collected

• These fines are not paid to children, but to women who can spend the money without limitation
• Many of these fines are paid in behalf of adults, not children, aged eighteen to twenty three

If the money from “child support” fines is needed to support children, why are fathers jailed when

they fall behind? It’s a bit hard to support your kids when you’re in jail, don’t you think Mister Speaker? We think it’s past time to end debtor’s prison for fathers, don’t you Mister Senate President. Why take

away a man’s professional and driver’s license if you want him to support his kids, Your Excellency? Can you spell e-x-t-o-r-t-i-o-n?
